Hello, I am doing SEO optimization for a shopping site since last month. Last week 3 keywords of this website were in good rank in SERP and this rank remains in that position for 1 week. But suddenly I found that all keywords disappeared from SERP when I checked it yesterday. As per my observation, I have not created any bad links for this website. Can anybody suggest me how can I recover this rank loss?
First you need to know the reason for this drop. Check webmaster tool for any Google Message. Then check your pages if they are still cached. Check for link building methods you worked, if they are spammy.
The main thing I would want to know is how much unique content you had on the website. If your website is lacking in unique content, I would remove the pages duplicate content, then add pages with unique content. If that does not work, I'd start over with a new domain, and only post unique content on the new website. I hope this helps!
What ever my be the reason with drop of the positions,! simply add quality content related to the keywords you want to target wait for some time..there are so many updates & conditions which going to influence the positions!!!!
Also I had this problem before 20 days. I lost my 8 keywords. But now 4 keywords came back. I hope other keywords will come soon. So don't worry, just continue on good link building.
Check your backlinks.Quality over quantity! Do not over populate your site with ads. i suggest you go to backlinkwatch.com and check your main competitor website and see what backlinks are they using and follow their backlink strategy. post articles to pdf sites (reviews,news,etc.), post articles to high pr articles directories. I run a shopping site and i use this strategy and works.
A highly recommended method for increasing your page rank is getting effective back links.Although you must be careful on what type of back link you are getting as some of them may be bad and your page rank may go down!
do content optimization on your website content.put fresh content on your site.don't stop to build backlinks.quality is always better than qualtity so try get good number of quality backlinks with high page rank sites.do press releases.all the best.
