Since the domain expires on the 21st of next month how much does namecheap charge for renewals? Also, I understand it is a free push on namecheap but I do not have a NC account, so are accounts free to setup?

Accounts are free to make, and once you put your information on your profile you can receive domains.

Thank for your interest. As DC correctly pointed out here (thanks for answering that, DC, I did not have Internet for 9 hours today so you got me covered :D ) your account at Namecheap.com is free to setup. However, I would assume that if you do a transfer instead, your current registrar will charge you for the transfer AND renew it at the same time. I personally like free pushes with the same registrar because in this case the domain name is all yours literally right away - no time to waste wating for the authorization codes to come through. If you are interested in the name, it's you call to push or transfer - I will do either way.

    Sure I do :D

It's $7.99 / year with a coupon or $8.99 if you don't want to be bothered with coupons.

    Hope this helps.
