Are you sure you're not indexed?

If you search Google for: www(dot)yourwebsite(dot)com, does it display any results? Why I'm asking, is that because you've got PR2, you're surely indexed. Maybe you've simply been penalized and therefore dropped a few ranking spots.

I am agree with the answer of SEO Heaven. If your website comes in google SERP it means google indexing your website pages.

First check your .htaccess file if there is anything is disallowed.

Add your url to google and 140+ search engines.Add analytics code and submit your sitemap to it.Surely it will index unless it is violated any google terms that also you will get in webmasters tools

search on site:yoururl if it got the result mean your site already been index.
You also can check on google webmaster tools that is your all page in your site fully index or not.
If your site not being index, impossible you get the page rank.

i am completely agree with your point . google crawl your website doesn't mean that it will index your site . may be Google find your website content duplicate or may be penalizing your site content that's why its not indexing your site pages immediate.
