    I add the G+ button to my blog it did seem to slow it down am giving it 6 months if theres no change am binning it.

    G+ won't harm your SEO performance. However, it can slow your website down (just like any other JS library, the FB and Twitter buttons). To make sure you get the best out of it, use the asynchronous version of G+. That option is available directly on the G+ button maker page.

    I don't see any advantage on that crap plus snippet. I get thousands of visitors every day and got only 40 plus up to now. Not sure how much longer it is worth to keep that thing on my site.

    How many of your visitors find you using google search? Maybe google users (fans) are unlikely to follow through to your website from a google plus page if it's related to the site in your sig, apart from the curious few. Not bashing your site, it was just a thought....

    On my network, around 60% of traffic come solely from direct google searches. That is roughly 10 000 unique viewers per day.

    The site on my signature was launched two days ago, I'm still promoting it around and seeing how it will perform.
