    Just wanted to jump on here and say nice! Your mind is in the right place man...

    The longer people stick it at it they more fluent they become in the language of marketing...

    There is a transition that happens when you keep taking action... I have always said the
    more you do something, anything towards your business the closer you are to your goals! even if what you did failed...

    It might not work the first few times you do something online but that is ok, it means you eliminated something
    that did not work for you... now you can try it another way!

    I agree with this but people have such short-attention spans nowadays that the concept of PERSISTENCE is alien to many people. They think it's a secret. So I think both YOU and the OP are correct.
