The process of Link Building is very impotant in point of view to increase your website PR and organic visits.

Following some methods i used to follow for link building which actually works for my website:

It's really good methods if we follow all methods in a natural way.

 

Article submission, Forum posting, Directory submission, RSS, Guset blogging, Blog commenting and more many things to link building.

 

Forum Posting, Blog Posting and Blog Commenting and Guest Posting are still a very good link building technique and works well for a large number of people. So is Social Bookmarking which has gained considerable importance once again.
As for article submission and directory submission, they used to be very good means of link building in the past. They do work now as well, but recent Search Engine updates have reduced their significance and importance. SEO practitioners manipulated this technique as well and exploited targeted anchor texts to point to their respective sites. People started submitting the same article with one targeted keyword anchor text back to their site, consequently too suspicious to the search engines.
Same goes for the article directories, which one being so popular, resulted in mushroom growth of hundreds of web directories. Extra care should be taken while implementing these methods.

 

These natural methods are used in organic SEO.

Those are the best & important activity of link Building for increase PR and Organic Visits.

 

You will need better variety than that if you're looking to target high paying niches/keywords. Forum posts and blog comments are almost completely useless when it comes to ranking websites to tell you the truth, same goes for social bookmarking and article directories which aren't too far behind.

 

Your entire list accept Directory Submissions (which is still flaky unless its HIGH quality like BOTW, Dmoz or Yahoo directory) is complete crap and will not help anyone rank their websites.

 

Article marketing is barely effective anymore, so not worth the time. Social is on the rise, so Twitter, Reddit, etc. work well. Creating good content with viral and shareability certainly helps get organic exposure that requires no work to link build other than creating compelling content. Press releases are also valuable, but the free ones not so much. Consider an SEO friendly one from PRWeb.com but it isn't cheap.

 

Guest posting, Social networking is good for get more traffic.

 

As mentioned, these are quite natural ways of building the links for the websites. Indeed, you can also focus on the social media sites that delivers you a better result in getting the targeted number of visitors which in turn might get you with the links. Try acquiring the links and socializing the business at once.

 

Social Media Optimization also helps a lot in link building and improve keyword ranking.

Actually the methods you describe here, it is very useful for seo work. I think article submission is better among them though every point is important.
