Forum Signature Links and Google Panda

Forum signature links are very low quality and most of the time UN-related to your searches.

I highly recommend not using them for anything.

 

Signature in the forum is nothing but to bring some visitors from visitors. It plays really a small role in search engine. So, nothing special to emphasize on signature link. Alternatively you can post related links with a quality content directly into the post.

According to me forum signature is good for search Engine, it wants natural work not spam.

 

It is ok to use forum signature as it is one of the back link sources. However, forum signature does not work well like that did in the past.

I cannot fully agree because still forum signatures are working for me. I agree it is low quality compared to links from article directory or from blog posts. But still it is one of the link sources.

 

Forum signatures are just ok as a natural way to get visitors back to your website.
However, they add very little to your SEO efforts, except if coming from several hogh quality websites.

Forum signatures are neither too good nor too bad. It's ok to use forum signature link to get some traffic and backlink. The only thing keep in mind is relevancy, we should only target or niche/relevant sites

 

I will said depend on your forum post as well. While poor content with your signature link actually will harm your SEO as well.
That is why do not spam forum , stay good reputation in the forum , get lot of thanks if the forum do have and post quality content . Then Google will not take as poor content and spammy. Panda only kill poor quality content, duplicate and spam.

If you are doing genuine discussion on quality websites then Forum's signature links are good otherwise no.

 

Finally someone dares to tell the truth, in the best of all scenarios they do nothing but if you have too much, like my more than thousand posts, they hurt your rankings.

 

Forum links are useless when it comes to SEO, trust me on that. Forum links are good for traffic, not SEO. Argue all you want, that's the truth.

 

Forum signature helps to get good page rank.
Personally I believe.

 

Google Panda has nothing to do with links.

 

If you are getting visiter by signature link it is so good for your SEO activites google also notice about the visiters .
