What is offpage and onpage SEO

I am new to seo and digital point

I want to learn seo techniques so please help me out...

 

There are two part of seo. One is on page seo and the others is off page seo. when you make seo in your side such as meta tag, meta description, google submission, sitemap, keyword setting its all are on page seo and the other hand when you make seo out of your side such as back link, blog commenting, forum posting, press release, link building its are off page seo.
