I stumbled on the new yahoo/bing adverts for publishers media.net about two days ago, and so far, mthe earnings seem to be good compared to what I am getting on other networks, even on value click media. Yesterday ingot about 13.99 use, I have about 4000 views per day. Definitely not up to what I was making with Adsense before I got banned but good compared to my other alternatives. I have just one ofmthier ads on my site while I have three of valu click medias on the same site and I get about 5 usd daily from valueclick. I hope this is for real thoug. Anyone on digitalpoint currently using them? Or has received payments from them?

Is it easy to get publisher application approved? How long does it take to approve for publisher application?

From what I gather they are still in the BETA stage and are only taking on large publishers, but I think they plan to roll the programme out to all websites Q1 next year.

I wonder if we'll eventually see AOL's ad platform (Advertising.com) coming on board with their video ad's to create a large Yahoo/Bing/AOL multi ad network platform?

This is almost certainly Yahoo's last throw of the dice to take on Google. In the interests of competition and fairness, everyone should wish them well in their endevour.

I'm happy with the ad networks I'm using, but I like to keep up with all the new changes and developments in advertising and technology.

I have tried Media.net, yet pays a lot more than Adsense for certain ad spots.

One key to making a lot of money with Media.net is to communicate with your ad manager. They will test your ads and make sure you make a lot more money. It takes a lot of testing, but in the end you could make a nice extra cash with them. From what I've seen they do a lot better in spots where Adsense gets less clicks.

One other thing - they only monetize USA, Canada and UK traffic, yet if you have a big size of search traffic from other countries, you won't see too many benefits in using Media.net. But if you do have traffic from USA or Canada, you could make some cash for good.

They seem to pay if you get $500 and they pay on net 30. They allow you to put up to 3 ads per website. They also pay by Paypal, which is great.

I have been with Media.net for several months now, and they have been paying me at $100 threshold via Paypal. Unless something has changed since they got acquired by Yahoo? I would like to see where it says that because I have still not received my payment for Nov (which is unusual).
