Basically here the freelancers can list their services, add their portfolio, contact details etc.
And the clients looking for such services can directly contact him through the email or IM ids.

Please advice me on design, concept of the site and marketing......

I have one question... what is your business angle if all the contractor details are provided for free ? I think its a good thing but just wondering how to plan to make money from the site.there is a lot of white space... nobody likes to scroll... as for marketing the site I would post an ad on a forum like this advertising for freelancers to add themselves to the site. I am sure you will get traffic from both freelancers and customers.I found an interesting freelancer looking at your site and I will definitely bookmark itGreat idea and good luck

And you asked the same question which everyone is asking me HOW YOU GONNA MAKE MONEY FROM THIS SITE.
Of course the niche is freelance. But its a whole new concept. Its kinda web directory of freelancer. You cannot compare it with freelancing sites. The 2 important difference is on freelancing sites you have to post a project and wait for contractors to bid on your project. On our site you just have to search the skills you are looking for and you contact the contractor whose profile,portfolio is strong and rate is favorable to you. The 2nd difference is the contractor don't have to invest time that too daily on bidding the project. They just have to make their profile once and keep updating their price and portfolio. There are few more beautiful features but the core concept is one which i mentioned above. Here we are not only saving the money (of client and of contractor) but we are also saving the time (of client and of contractor)
And for the money part seriously I don't have any idea how to monetize it. Right now my full concentration is on making a awesome site. And I strongly belief that once you have a product which is useful to its user you get a no. of ways to monetize your product Thanks again

Just use some white spaces for other contents or you can just remove too much whites.
The whole thing is beautiful and has a professional looks.
