How to get quality backlinks? (EXCLUDED: directory links, swaps, forums, blog links)

What techniques do you use to obtain backlinks to your site without:
-directory links
-swaps
-forum signatures and link posts
-blog links

So, how do you personally obtain good "do follow" links to your site?
Please don't repeat the "you have to obtain links naturally" thing, we all know that one

Create high quality "evergreen" content on your site then post a link to on your site's social media accounts. You gain backinks from various social media sites and get traffic as well. If your article is informative and give value to users, then users themselves will be sharing your article on their social media accounts, giving you more backlnks.

I try offering articles to bloggers that includes a link - the blogger gets free content and I get a backlink. There are many bloggers that are open to this!

 

I use web 2.0 properties for backlining toward to my site.

 

According to mine mind its totally depend upon link-building because if your link building is unique and quality then off course you can get a quality links..........

 

Has anyone tried podcasts? You can create an audio version of your content and share that as a podcast with a link back to your site. If your content is particularly good and helpful, users tend to share that with others and you get more traffic and more backlinks to your site.

Im fortunate I guess in that I have developers on staff that have built me some pretty nice custom spiders. So I have a set up that alerts me to 3-4-5-6 PR sites that add links because I know these sites are in a niche Im working in for a client and that arent spamming with porn ads,gaming etc. These are sites Ive tracked for years and have ALWAYS moved my targets. They're cheap and easy to work with. Of course Im not going to blurt out in an open forum what they are but my point is, when you find a good one, keep track of it!

One solid pr 4 link is worth 10 articles directories and 100 blog comments!
When you get established, clean sites that are related (another severely misunderstood term), with a PR 3-4 or 5, you don't need many!

 

if you dont conclude guest blogging as blog links, you can use this strategy. Alternatively, invest view hundreds dollar and use the money to buy high page ranks domain available on domain section on this forum. with additional, SEO ip or dedicated IP for each domain, you can build your own Link Building arsenal.

But many threads in this forum says that these are spams. People are saying every thing spam which i know to get backlinks. I am very worried and confused that what ways of getting backlinks are recommended esp after penguin. Why it seems everything is spam.

One effective way is to write an artice in hubpages.com and provide your link there, you may get hundreds of views which is a good start for brand new website.

If you're creative (say you can draw well, make videos or music - or you know someone who can do these things) then make something cool. A comic, funny video, prank call or whatever. Make something people will enjoy, spread it through social media and get some links. Do outreach, too, to people who compliment your niche (not competitors). By this, I mean if you're a manufacturer of dog beds then you would reach out (build relationships) with blogs, news sites and other relevant types of sites dedicated to dog bed reviews, dog care, etc.

Such backlinks:

- Aren't spam.
- Are natural (people chose to link to you without money exchanging hands).
- Have a long life (until the site closes, for example).
- Are on sites that (hopefully) have an audience so it's not just about linkjuice, but also getting people coming to you.
- Are going to result in other natural links to you (other blogs picking up the item, social media mentions, etc).

Not everyone is lucky enough to be good with graphics, for example, or be able to make videos, music, etc. I'm lucky enough to have a few friends who are good with graphics and photography. If you're lacking in that area, make new friends and contacts. Or pay for it. It's better to pay for someone to make something cool rather than a link that Google might just ignore (if you're lucky, or some kind of penalty/algorithmic demotion at worst).

 

I build blogs on domains that already have at least PR 2. Simply buy such a domain that has backlinks already. Build a blog on it, on topic that you need and after a while start linking to your main site. It has much bigger power than any other link building method. I'm going to sell some of my PR3 and PR4 domains at domain section on this forum in the following days.
