Can someone explain the difference between the terms Lead Generation and Conversion or are they the same thing? Thanks.
Lead generation is when you are building a list of subscribers and conversion is when your site visitor buys from you and becomes a customer. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
Lead generation is a similar to the win-win strategy, wherein the buyer cum the seller are opting for a reliable service provider and the user. Its just the the way of dragging in the customers through the effective marketing strategies. While lead conversion is that converting the leads to the customers or can also be meant as an account. Former method would help the business to experience the greater conversion. Lead generation can be acquired via the promotion through SEO and social media. Also with the paid ads and so on.
They are completely different but both work together. Without leads you can't get conversions. It's like the process of making orange juice. Say you throw a bunch of oranges in a huge grinder (leads) and you turn the machine on and get orange juice (conversions) without oranges you won't get orange juice
When you think Lead generation, think "marketing" to get prospects. When you think Lead conversion, think "sales" to CLOSE prospects.
Hi WebSteve! How are you? Lead Generation is simply the consumers' interest in a certain product or inquiry while conversion is actually getting people to sign up for your product, to your email list or newsletter. Kind Regards
Lead generation is the process of getting leads, conversion is how many leads actually convert into email subscribers, customers, etc.
