    I used to submit to a bunch article directory sites but not anymore. I only do that to a couple of web 2.0 sites I own.

    The importance of Submission is low compare to the past, i.e by having good number of updates from past one year!
    How every Quality submission will work, even any new update came in future too what ever may be the technique !

    The thing is you have to use different methods of link building, I mean multiple methods of link building for better result.

    I Am Using Following Submissions:
    Forums Posting, Articles Submission, Blog Comments On High PR And Dofollow Blogs.
    But After The Last Update In Google Rules The Quality Of Content Is The Basic Need To Get Good Results.
