    It is said that the number ones alexa rank website has about 2 billion users monthly.

    I disagree, I don't think Google Plus will ever be able to surpass Facebook in terms of traffic and users. I actually prefer Google Plus over Facebook but unfortunately Facebook is where things are happening. If my friends moved over to Google Plus then I might consider it.
