If you pause for a second to think about it the answer is blatantly obvious. The planet is filled with people trying to get to the top of the SERPs with sites that frequently don't deserve to be there. Google, therefore, have to try to outplay those site owners and send their sites to oblivion where they belong. Everytime they make a change forums like this one are filled with tales of woe and suggestions for how to beat the latest change and so the game continues.

coakleylincoln - Why did you think they did it?

PageRank is a weblink research criteria, known as after Ray Web page and used by the Search engines Internet seo, that designates a mathematical weighting to each factor of a hyperlinked set of records, such as the World Large Web, with the objective of "measuring" its comparative significance within the set. The criteria may be used to any selection of organizations with shared estimates and sources. The mathematical weight that it designates to any given factor E is termed as the PageRank of E and denoted by PR(E).

It was fixed before but now Google has changed tactics and they does not declare anything..do it in the background..if you have done all your seo on ethical way then there are less chances that you will suffer..Just do good work and be safe..let the google do their work.

Only Google knows the perfect answer. But now a days Google has become very strict about the optimization of a site. As per Google, sites need to be optimized for human beings not for Google. May be this is the reason G is changing its algo frequently.

Nobody here could possibly know why, they most likely change it to try and make the system of choosing preferred websites better.

    They develop the algorithm,
and also they treat others as a competitor,
so to survive in the competition they change it.

Hai RK7734 I think we can't judge virtually when it'll be. Google do it as per their schedule but one thing is that you can raise this query to google. There may be your answer. Here you go...

You're right, only google knows when they'd like to update their algorithms... so be very careful in doing seo work and ensure that it is done in quality...
