    Please everyone tell me how to attract new members to my forum, which content is best and attractive?
    Please everyone give me some ideas on how to get started.

    Hi digitalpoint, I have same idea with saboor. I have a new online forum with zero thread/post. I think it's hard to attract new member to join with us because they see poor content. How to make people become our member even when they know we have poor content? Can you tell me step by step to promote new forum site? Thanks.

    If you can figure out a way to do that, PM me and I'll show you how to get unbelievably rich in a month. We can also sell people wrecked cars for the price of new cars using the same method, because that's what you're asking for.

    People won't go to a forum that has content they don't want to read, just as they won't pay for products they don't want to buy. Read post #4 again. If you still have questions, read it again. Keep reading it until you have no more questions.

    I agree with DP! :)

    Go check out your competition (other forums like yours) and see what they have to offer. Now don't exactly copy them since no one likes a copycat but instead offer features and content like theirs BUT with some more uniqueness to it. For example, if you run a pet fish forum and want to add a new feature to get more members, you go look at your rival forum and notice they offer a post for people to reply with photos of their pet fish, and the post is very popular. You can turn around and provide free photo gallery albums to your members to allow them to show off their pet fish. All the gallery to be interactive allowing comments to photos and what not.

    Just be unique and creative when adding more features to your forum :)

    Promotion wise, a good start is forums that relate to your topic. Join them and become an active member, help people out on the forum, develop a wonderful relationship and include a signature link to your forum (if you are allowed to) but never spam others.
