Does Article Marketing Still Work with SEO?

Hi,

I've been recently doing some article marketing. After a long time I tried giving a push to some sites via published articles...
Sites like HubSpot, InfoBarrel, Bukisa and 2-3 others are supposed to help.

So far I only have about 3-4 articles. All of them pending for now. They have a few links in them, which are supposed to contribute with some backlinks (anchor is brand name and various other words, I avoided keywords).

Do you think this actually contributes to SEO? Does it have effect?

I am worried about Google's harsh penalties, but of course, these are just a few articles for SEO technique diversification. I believe I'm fully ethical...

What do you think? Could this work out now as we're entering 2013?

 

Article writing is still a factor used by Google to rank results. As long as you produce unique content that is interesting and post them on other websites it is useful and I cannot see it not being a factor in the future as well as article writing is the way to create authority in a particular subject.

 

True, article marketing is still beneficial so long as you do it the right way. Make sure the anchor kw dont exceed 30% else you will be hit by penguin. Mix anchor kw with other kws.

 

They still work pretty well, they were devalued a bit but still worth the effort of using them I think

Yes, why not still the article marketing are running with good approachment. Many visitors will coming from articles only...Content is king..so for this we have to good articles..Google always encourage unique and new articles...np with that..

You cant say still it will definately work but your content should be quality and original then only it will be approved by article sites you can go for another article site which approve the articles instantly like articles.org, gorticles.com, newswine.com and many other sites.

 

If you submitting article with unique and useful content for Readers without promoting your brand, any ways you can use link their. it will very helpful. use unique content to each website.

Article writing and marketing still works, it sets author rank and brand value of your product. It is a slow but steady way to build back link and get visitors.

 

Google is relying currently on 2 factors....

1. Social Media
2. Contextual Linking

As we can see all the other tools doesn't guarantee or qualify for the authority and natural linking...

If you write unique content and submit it on just one website . It will give you positive result.

 

I know the ranks of article submission sites were devalued because they were becoming spam farms. I recommend publishing articles on your own site.
