this cannot be stressed enough . you can do this by generating useful content like articles and blogs , by social networking and the development of multimedia . this sounds easy but its a lot of hard work . still you can also strategically spread your content in different websites while keeping your target niche in mind . be very careful not to overlink to pages within your site , this is a new penalty from Google"s most recent update .

 

Do Press release, guest posting, also do some social media activity. Forum posting is also good for getting good traffic.

 

There are number of ways to get traffic.Obviously the best way is ranking for your targeted keywords.Article marketing and social media marketing are also effective source of traffic if done correctly.

 

Working on SEO is better way to increase your traffic, for that you need good patience. As well as you have to make sure that you have selected good keywords with better search volume. (Hint : Use Google keyword tool, for this)

 

To increase traffic to your site, post and share lots of remarkably high quality content, often.

 

Research free methods like seo, article marketing, video marketing, yahoo answers, Facebook fan pages, twitter marketing, etc - this should help get you started in the right direction

I suggest you first check your site. Sometimes you focus on link building right away without seeing your on-page needs. Maybe you should check all parameters that Google wants in a site and then you can go ahead promoting your site.

Try doing other method not just forum posting and blog commenting. You should read and test. Best practice is still "doing the method and see the outcome". I suggest participate in social networks, do some writing and engage to guest blogging. There are a lot of strategies you can do to generate traffic.

According to me do blog post regularly with fresh and unique content will help you to build best traffic to your site.

 

As a internet marketer everything that you do you should be focusing on building your list ! Solo Ad's They are great for traffic also.
Figure out what the goal of your website is where it's to opped in to your list or to sell something and focus on that with solo ads .

It would be really difficult to tell you how to improve website traffic until we know lots of other things such as
What kind of website you have?
How old is it?
How many articles/pages do you have?
Do you have a Blog?

If you're talking about a classified ad site - I would say, you're into a very dense niche and it needs lot of efforts for the visibility
Also, for the same site - I can see your site pages are not getting indexed - that needs attention too.

But, overall - don't expect a huge ROI with that domain name and content.
