Which is the best software for creating a website?

I use Paintshop Pro for mock-ups and then code purely with notepad++

 

There are many software you can chon.Va I think you should choose one of them. Cs5 I then used photoshop to design, phpdesign 7 to write code. And sometimes the editplus. But I think dreamwear pretty good to make a web page with html and css

I use Dreamweaver although wanting to try Joomla too, for all other graphical necessities I use Photoshop.

 

Hi,

If your just starting out, your better of reading tutorials on how to slice images in Photoshop and use that for designing and then Dreamweaver to code in. When you have advanced move away from dreamweaver and use NotePad++ so you can do it all on your own without Dreamweaver guessing all the codes to use.

first design your mockup in photoshop & then convert it in to div base html with notepad ++ or dreamweaver5.

Dreamweaver and Visual Studio are two best options for developing a good website.

 

Also i use Photoshop to create web page design because it is pixel base format and very user friendly.

Notepad++ : Free : Produces the best code. (You have to learn something)
