    I don't really take "short cuts" (i.e. bots, fiverr) when it comes to growing Twitter followers. I usually go to followerwonk [dot] com and find/follow people RELEVANT from there. Yes, it's not as quick as fiverr, but it ensures that my follower/following lists are lean and relevant. :)

    Also, posting useful content + actually replying to tweeps works great, too.
