    You need to concentrate into onpage seo first then offpage seo.. quality and unique web content is must needed..
    Lot of link bulding is not good practice of seo in the age is Google panda and penguin update...
    So be careful other you will fall on penalty ...

    Now a days Google not giving importance to old links building methods. Write Unique Content and post it on Web 2.0 sites with links to your site and post URLs of these Articles in Social Networking sites like FB, SU, Digg, DEL, Reddit, Twitter etc. Also write content for human not for search Engine.
