    i tend to try not to instead i build my links other ways. Directories are too costly and time consuming i think

    I have only one "big" site, so for me is good every link :) So I voted for second option, Yes, it is worth the effort.

    Sure it is worth submitting to directories. In today's PR update, I see many sites that I did directory submissions for got decent PR and they had already started ranking for some keywords.

    no. probably not. as mentioned, too time consuming and the bigger factor is this: most indexes are NOT going to have your page indexed...sure, they have some of their pages indexed, but the chance that YOURs is indexed is slim.

    Yes it is, when I roll-out my directory listing and have my others site published as a featured link. The other site have a sudden increase or additional daily traffic and its very helpful.

    To be honest I doubt that it still has some value in terms of visitors, most people use google, bing and yahoo not directory listings.

    But the PR boost could maybe have some positive influence, thing is most directories don't have a decent PR. Hence I stay away since I have yet to receive one visitor from a directory.

    select only quality directories. avoid crap and Spam directories. and when you think of a quality directory list which well maintained - check this out http://info.vilesilencer.com/

    Yes, only directories are still worth submitting to. But not all directories, only those that have some or High page rank. It help you to create quality back link that will results in increment in your website's PR. I would like to suggest you to keep it submitting to these high rank directory and away from only 0 rank directories.

    Yes directories are still worth submitting to.its so simole and easy,We are distributors of all plastic materials, including complete fabrication of plastic parts, components and assembles like Acrylic sheets, polycarbonate sheet and UHMW.
