    I've been blogging a long time, and the best advice that I can give you, is to never blog for your audience. You can spend all the time in the world posting stuff that you think people will want to read, and you just might make it...
    However, you will never be happier with your blog than if it's full of things that matter to you, things you want to share, and things you want people to know. You'll never have to pretend you're anything more than yourself, and you'll never disappoint your audience.
    Just get the content up that you enjoy, and it will come through in your writing. There's no better draw for a blog than genuine content.
