How relevant/helpful is it to still publish ezine or other articles?

Obviously it can't do damage if the article is original etc - but is it still worth the effort to publish related articles and link back to your site for SEO?Also, how relevant or helpful to SEO is press releases like PRweb for example?

 

Though it sounds like it has no more value nowadays because of Google algorithm updates, article submission still plays a role in gaining traffic and online presence on the web. The problem is that more users have adapted another seo techniques other than submitting articles to article directories like ezine, etc. Some are even suggesting to just post your articles to your site or blog rather than posting them on other sites.

 

You are right John, I think its better to publish content on own blog and share that on social media to get traffic. Or instead writing article why can't do some research and write guest post for other blogs.

imseo - you are right. We cannot gain much traffic from articles. Guest blogging or adding blog to your own website would be much more helpful.

 

I completely agree with Johnrone and imseo. Many SEO professionals are now actually saying that Google are not provided a high link value anymore for Article style links which are on these types of networks. So like John original said, it is actually better to have a blog and create the post here so it is only unique to your blog in which you can then link back with a highly relevant link to your money website.

 

Nowadays EZA is not as powerful as it use to be due to the Google algorithm change... my experience learned me that social media traffic is not always converting into sales.
