What is more important : Content or Backlinks

I prefer to content because content is the king for search engine optimization. What do you think guys?

Although I've been managing lots of sites with good content, those prevailed that had stronger and more backlinks from related resources - those were natural backlinks.

So I tried both ways: focusing more on content and more on backlinks. But despite the algorithmic changes, it's still a lot more important to have good links!

Yes content is much important but try to share it in top social networks. It helps you to get traffic as well as ranking.

 

Both back links and unique content is important for a web page or a web site. Because if you have fresh and unique content then more visitor will attracts and traffic will increase there is not any doubt in this. But if you have a content that is optimized with keywords then it will more boost the ranking of your website. Because when anyone read your blog or content and want to share or contact with the you then he needs a link with the help of which he/she can make a contact with you or your website. so, your content will act as a back link for your website and increase your traffic as well as ranking in Google search engine result pages.

Is hard to said that your content will be the most quality because Google Algorithm do measure your content with keywords, traffic, interaction by comment and social media, bounce rate, CTR , the layout of the content and so on .
To stay competitive, you need go with both great content and backlinks. Backlinks don't need be much but quality will do .
Take more time on fresh and quality content and take some time to build some backlink consistent.

Both are very important in SEO. Even if you have thousands of backlinks but you don't have good quality content on your site, don't count on having a high rank in Google. The same goes for content. Having good quality content alone will not be sufficient to land you on top of the rankings. You must always have both of them in SEO.
