Picture in Google Search

Hello Guys,

If you have a picture on the Search Results, its more common to get clicked.

So i have following question, how do following sites have perfect matching google picture ( i thought its only the profile pic) but it seems it is the first picture on their website.

Use google.at -> "bechamelsoße" and there you will find 2 perfect pics (google chrome)




How can i do the same? On each page, get the wanted picture!

Ok, Thanks; So this means, if i want to have such cool pictures next to my blog post i need to PAY GOOGLE? Sorry not that familier with google merchant center, + googling atm. but mby you can provide faster and better answer.

Because at the end of the day, i dont want to sell anything thrue google, i just want to have the Picture

 

I think it should be free, if you dont sell anything. SO is there any downside of this "trick"?

 

Link to your site from your google plus page, then it will use your Google plus profile picture as the author picture in search results.

BTW, the stars are GD star rating plugin, if you add it to your site the star rating will show too.

 

Those photos you see in your example are not authorship data. Rather they are meta data (rich snippets). You can verify by checking the individual urls here:
