Should i purchase windows 8 ?

My dad did. It's kind of cool. It's Windows 7 with a tab screen that is more like Windows 3.1 with pictures. Best way I can think of it. I think it's overpriced though.

 

Overpriced? You can get it for $20 as an upgrade from Win7. They made it cheap for a reason

 

Are you serious? It's the cheapest windows till date. I bought 5 win 8 pro licenses for 699 INR each (about $13 USD) as upgrades. Sure the learning curve of Metro UI from Aero is kinda high, but once you get used to it, it is cool.

A word to the pirates, it is your golden chance to go legit, even at $39 it's a bargain. No matter if you have a pirated version of windows 7, you can upgrade it to windows 8. snatch it before the price goes to $199 USD.

 

I heard that it comes with anti-piracy feature.. Hmm.. kindda doubt that!

Yes you may purchase one. But I have heard that windows 8 has many security issues and its much more complex.
