$20 Image Design - Multiple Winners

Discussion in 'Design Contests' started by Investawise, Nov 8, 2012.

We are looking for some images designed that look professional, modern and clean for use on a new site.

The key thing is that they can easily be customized to suit different products e.g. change the background colour and add in new text/logo/graphic to make a new image to promote a different product.

The image has to be sized 600x373 pixels and ideally should have rounded corners.

Some images that we like so you can get idea of the quality we are after are:

    de8e602e1cdb1712c1a8da807bbf11d8.jpg

The graphic should not be an obvious copy of the above but the above should be used as a marker for the level of quality needed.

The prize will be $20 and there are multiple prizes available, basically any graphics we see that we like and fit with what we require will be chosen as winners. It is possible for a single designer to win multiple prizes so please have a go at multiple designs if you wish to enter more than one.

This contest will remain active for 1 week from today.

Just to clarify - entries should use sample text, logo and a product image (such as eBook cover). I am not interested in the logo or product graphic - just how the overall image looks and how easily it can be customized.

Slimrider94 - Thanks but I think this is a bit too plain and also far too similar to the example I gave.

To clarify, the designs do not need to be in the same layout as the samples I provided - they are simply there to help demonstrate the kind of thing we like.

Krisdude - Not bad although not madly in love with it either! If you want to try and improve it I would say make the black a plain background or at least a different texture as that one almost just looks like its a poor quality image. I would also put an effect on the hand, maybe a drop shadow to give it more punch? Also please remove the 'Click Here' button as that would not be necessary.

Thanks for the feedback it was very instrumental. I have made a new revised entry based on it:

Krisdude - thanks for the new entry, however I think you have now tried to go too different. The first entry just needed slightly more to it rather than scrapping and starting again from scratch. Of the two I prefer your first entry, this one has become a bit too busy although the black background texture is better. Maybe a combination of the two might work better?

One $20 prize has now been given to an entry via PM.

Still have more crisp notes to give away :)
