Microsoft Vs Apple?

In my opinion both are best companies! Both have Great Technology. what do you guys think?

Microsoft if I have only those 2 choices.

 

I'd say Apple has better technology. It's innovative every time they release a product.

 

No ,both are the best competitor for each other ,
that's why they have best technology and idea.
As a apple or mac user I wanna say apple is the best but the measuring idol is Microsoft ,
if Microsoft is not good then apple is more bad .

This time, it was one of Microsoft’s hardware partners, Acer, that stepped onto the field of battle. Last Tuesday it unveiled a dazzling display of weaponry, designed both to re-stake its claim to hardware leadership and to challenge Apple directly.


Hours earlier, Apple had tacitly admitted it needed a new battle plan as it announced one of the biggest shakeups yet of its management structure. It merged the teams that designed the Mac OS operating system that runs on Apple computers and the iOS mobile operating system that runs on iPads, iPhones and iPods. That suggests it aims to work towards a unified operating system, addressing one of the main gaps in the Apple offering – lack of a unified experience across all devices.


Equally significantly, it gave Apple’s head of Industrial Design, Jony Ive, the British design genius who is credited with the design of the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad, control over its Human Interface division.


At the same time, Apple fired its heads of Retail and of the iOS division, the latter presumably as the scapegoat for disappointing applications. The Siri voice-assistant on the iPhone 4S was derided as an underperformer and the Maps app on the iPhone 5 was so poor, Apple had to advise its customers to use alternatives from competitors. Heads were sure to roll.


Apple is by no means in trouble. It still reported record revenue of $36-billion for the last quarter and a jaw-dropping $8.2-billion profit. But it will no longer have things its own way. Among many other adversaries, Acer made that abundantly clear last week.

 

Apple has better user interface. It organizes files better, and in my opinion, it generally creates better user experience. Microsoft, however, gives software developers and customers much more flexibility to do what they like. Apple is a very restrictive company

 

Hey HamaD1010! I also agree with you. According to me as well, Apple and Microsoft both are the best competitors and gives its best. Both of them have great technology with innovative ideas. As I have experienced both of them so I like both the company.

How about Remodifying the question as, "Apple V/s Samsung", you cannot compare Microsoft with Apple. How many of you will agree with me?

 

I think it makes more sense or Apple Vs Windows, anyway the majority is going for microsoft, harder to say in Apple Vs Samsung so definitely more interesting to debate.

As a huge video gamer, I am not a fan of Apple at all. I only prefer using macs for video editing and photoshop, both of which I am comfortable with on a PC anyways. I have no need for an iPhone to feel cool about my self, my quad core android is much better, thanks. Have fun with no signal after your first drop. Innovative design? What drunken idiot engineer put an antenna around the iPhone's outside, the first point of impact from a typical phone drop. If I had a nickel for everytime an iPhone user complained about reception.......

In my opinion, Microsoft, Apple, Google and Amazon are 4 great companies that changed the way we work.

 

All are great in their sense, creativity, hardwork.
Respect all.

 

I said that because Microsoft and Apple are way much different companies than each other, you can't compare these two technologies. Apple still needs to go a long way in order to compete with Microsoft. Right now if you are comparing Apple with Microsoft, you are literally insulting Microsoft. So that's why i said that Apple V/s Samusng is a justified comparision.
