Miss Universe & Bollywood Babe Lara Dutta's Fan Site, Nicely Designed & Fair Traffic

Age: Started in December 2005, but launched it in June 2006

Description: A fansite for Miss Universe 2000 and Bollywood actress, Lara Dutta with her latest news, information and a huge images gallery.

It's nicely designs and well organised but I do not have enough time to run the site and also Lara isn't very active in cinema these days, so there isn't much to do at the moment, however there will be once her forthcoming projects take off.

Traffic
Most of the traffic comes from Google and top affiliates listed on the sidebar.
The highest traffic that we got was 2,691 unique visitors in July. From the start, the visitors have been increasing and they would increase even more if I promoted it, but I did not have time to do that.

Alexa rating has been going up as well, but I do not care about that much since their statistics are based on the people who use their toolbar.

The site gets most it's visitors from USA, UK and Australia since Lara Dutta is an International celebrity. She has dated people like Derek Jeter and she currently dates a famous model Kelly Dorji.



Revenue
The site doesn't really earn much because I haven't experimented with the ad placements yet, and I wasn't interested in making money from this as I wanted to dedicate this site to this talented beauty without making the site look like a money making factory.

The clickthrough rate is 0.84% on average, but it has been upto 2.50% in the past, so you have a chance of increasing it if you place the ads properly. I haven't earned anymore than about $10 a month from it, but as I said, I didn't care because I didn't want to overload it with adverts.

Updating
Most of the news runs with an altered version of cutenews script, http://english.cutenews.ru and the gallery uses coppermine (both use MySQL) personally skinned by me. The other pages of the site were created with Dreamweaver, and the graphics with Photoshop.

It takes around 30 minutes to update it, and you can do 2 to 3 updates a week, or more if appropriate.

I just renewed the domain, so it will expire on 11th December 2007.

I will gladly host it for another month, until you can settle your own server.

The site is nicely designed and can be kept as a hobby, or even generate some money from it if you want.

I am looking for a bit of money to run my other sites, so I'll let you make the offers.

The ONLY reason I am selling this site is because I have 14 sites to run and I do not get time to work on all of them, so some get left out. I might be selling 1 or 2 others, so keep an eye in this section.
