best way to accept money after selling a website?

now, my question is which way is more secure for me to accept money from buyer?
Escrow.com?
Credit Card?
PayPal?


I don't want to give my database and info to buyer, he take a copy of my files for himself and then he cancel his buying. is this possible? for example if I accept paypal, can he cancel his payment after a few days ?


escrow.com will charge about 75$ for transaction plus 40$ to send money to my bank account (i'm outside of us). seems a lot. is it really worth?. can I receive money via paypal after buyer send it to escrow.com ?? Do you ever user used escrow.com???

Escrow will not refund his money just on his word that he never got it. This is escrow, not PayPal... they won't immediately side with the buyer and screw the seller over. Escrow is set up to protect both parties, not just the buyer.

Once Escrow has secured the payment from the buyer, you want to transfer everything over to the buyer and then let Escrow know that it's been done. Now the buyer will have to confirm that everything has been transferred over, and once that's done, Escrow releases the money to you.

$115 for the escrow cost ? so your domain should worth at least twice of this cost to be profitable using escrow.

 

Escrow is the safest I guess. Have used them with ease.

 

I wouls say PayPal is the best, but you need to make sure the person who buys your qebsite will not do the chargeback

 

As most have said, i'd also have to agree that Escrow is your best option.

Other than getting the funds sent via a non refundable solution such as Western Union or MoneyGram, though you will need to provide real details to the buyer obviously.

 

I don't know any reliable method other than escrow.
