Did google penalize me for posting a link on my dump.

    I was in top 10 on google for a keyword that was getting 4k hits from google (5mil searches / month)
    i added my adult video site link on the footer of a dump i own and within a week i am ranked 98..

    The only listings in front of me that were not there before is youtube.

    Could it be the dump link? or did google just cheat even more with its youtube site?

    could be the adult link, as google is very strict these days on how you play with your site

    It is a adult site the site witch was top 10 was adult tube and my meta also states adult just in case

    but i read that link dumps are damaging to seo but i did not think of that as the dump was my own site..

    Anyway i removed the link and hope my rank goes up :(

    Google will dropped ranking immediately when they found irrelevant links on the site.Specially adult link.

    As you said you have used adult link on your footer. then why you crying that you penalize , don't you know about Google polices, ?

    Both sites in question are ADULT!!

    I posted a ADULT link TO a ADULT dump site AKA link farm BOTH of witch i OWN!!

    And who is crying? i was simply asking a question
