I wanted to add one other thought as well. If you really did receive a Penguin penalty, and you feel that you've cleaned up your offending links, you may need to wait until the next Penguin refresh before you get some rankings back.

Yeah alot of sites got hit this past month due to the penguin and panda RE updates.. SEOs getting pretty unfair lol
