Site used to get 10,000 daily visitors now banned !

    Hi ,

i purchased ihowto.com and the site was ranking top 3 on many jailbreaking terms . visitors were between 5000-10000 daily

i never done anything to the site to risk banning it .

Back in Feb Google banned ihowto from their search results . and of course visitors dropped .

Few weeks agoi i purchased a ready website and replaced ALL the previous articles on ihowto hoping if the issue is within articles it will be removed .

Afte reaaplying , Google messaged me that Still " Quality Issues"

If anyoe has gone thru this nightmare or is able to help please reply .

I am not sure if previous seller has posted links to the site somewhwere that get it to be banned !

Alll this is confusing to me

    thanks in advance guys

you need to have more unique content over 50% i think it is google dosnt like spam or text from other websites that might be why your site got banned maybe i have never ran into this before maybe just move on to something else?

i don know if the previous seller did something ,

but personally , i did not do anything , it will be stupid of me to do something and ban the site .

and google never gives explanation , that is my biggest dilemma ,

    Hi,

Once your site got penalized by Google, then you need to forgot about it. They wont consider your reconsideration request.

You would have violated the Google terms and conditions. I would suggest you to drop a mail to Google and try to send personalize message in mail stating about your condition. Google will help you to recover it and you will get your domain unblocked.

If you are not following google guidelines and submit your link in bad site or penalize by google, other reason google get much duplicate content in your sire.

having links on bad site "this can penalize" I don't agree because if so then every other site would have gone out of search results because many people would do this for their competitor and wola they would be on top ☺ yes content can be a measure point here.

Managing quality content on a site is big issues. Until now I was facing the same problem. Sites like Feedreader.com simply copies the 2 lines of your site and that enough for Google to give penalty to our site because Feedreader.com has better reputation in comparison.

Google Algorithm doesn't understand that as I think. Check all of your articles and see whether your content is copied, even a paragraph as well.

There are two things which you can do -
    1. Move your site to a completely new domain but again quality content is required.
    2. Stay with same domain, delete all articles less than 300 words, retouch articles with quality content and start pushing new unique articles from now on timely manner.

    I hope it helps!

The problem might be your content. They are not unique I guess. Check it out. You better correct your contents and re-upload your site.

After a quick look, with all honesty and many years of using google, you are better off starting a brand new site. I am almost willing to bet there is nothing you can do will convince google to bring your site back again.

Might be there is problem with the Duplicate content and you have submitted your link in such directory where google did't want so my opinion to check your content might be it will create duplication remove that and upload fresh content on them.
