you opinion on layout?

 

Nice header and nice width. Alot of forums, but alot of subjects. Sometimes it's better to lump a few and break um out later.

The style seems close to stock, but with what you've done, you're like one css code from a custom look, definatly finish that.

I like the color and contrast too.

You are coming out of the gate running it seems.

 

yeah was a bit concerned about the amount of forums...we'll look in to that.


Any ideas to further customize the templete? Don't want anything too dramatic though.

 

I would change the header bar background and text color and call it a custom style myself. I think you're there.

With that out of the way, work on promotion and posts.

 

Linux is hotter than hell, you should put a www.mepis.com forum up there.

With out some good content to start with you may not get much in the way of posts, but you should already know that.

Find some good help files or articles and post links to them in the appropriate sub-forums, just to get things started.

I found a couple, but not much.

 

Articles are cheap and there are at least two people around here that can do it.

I've used one and was very pleased.

 

yeah i have contact with one writer from DP.

I'll check it out.
