phpbb articlebot

Hi any phpbb people here.
I'm trying to find an articlebot for phpbb, I know such a thing exists as I've seen it on quite a few forums.
Anyone know a download url for it ??

Whats an articlebot?

 

it's a bot that auto parses something like an rss feed and makes forum posts dependant on criteria that you set.
Great for a forum that talks about recent developments on a certain topic.

 

I have setup a RSS feed on my forum which makes a single post for specific topics, from dog RSS feeds, cat RSS feeds, etc, is that what your after?

This mod takes your typical common or garden rss / xml news feeds and delivers them direct to your forums, i.e. inserts them as posts right into the forum(s) of your choice.

The reason I want it is pretty simple really, I have the pleasure (or rather displeasure) of loading various results from an rss feed into a forum, each result goes in as a separate post in a specific forum. IE the result from 1 team goes into their forum the result from another into theirs etc etc.
Doing it by hand is a right royal pita.

Another use I've seen them put to is when a comment is placed on an article, it gets pulled by the bot and put into a forum -- can't think of a use for that at the moment though.
