What are the Link building strategies after Penguin Update and EMD update..? Please mention about the same.
They are same as they used to be, but a little bit tweaked. Use more unique content, diversify your anchors and platforms you are building links from.
Yes, the thing is you don't have to spam anywhere, post useful content on top sites, blogs, article directories, content should be fresh, use link within the content, diversify the anchor text, do only manual work and it would be good for your website.
It is definately a little more difficult that it used to be, focus on quality rather than quanitity. It will get you alot more leverage in google than someone that has 100s of directory links. IT just takes time.
Here is my .02: If you build and maintain a diverse and natural-looking link profile, you'd probably not need to run around switching your link building strategy after each and every update or algo-shift. Here is what has usually worked for us (and our clients), over the past decade or so: Link Source Diversity: * A good number of directory links * Useful/meaningful comments on relevant blogs and forums * Some links from (major) social media sites * Some profile links * Some reciprocal links (with carefully selected industry players) Anchor-Text Diversity: * A good number of anchor-text variations across the links * Some links without anchor-text (i.e. formed using just your domain/URL) * At least a few links carrying the anchor-text 'Click here' * Some in-context links Other Diversity Factors: * A mix of do-follow and some no-follow links * A mix of links pointing to your base URL and some internal/deep URLs * A mix of links formed with and without the www prefix (You should have taken care of the canonical issue via your server config/htaccess) PR Diversity: * If you achieve a goodish amount of diversity as mentioned above, the PR diversity will automatically come about, as a natural consequence. A diverse mix of links as described above would appear to be quite natural (because it is so) to anyone or anything (human or robot) which will provide a site with a sort of 'immunity' against search engine updates and algo-changes over months and years. I hope this is useful. I've been thinking of writing-up a white paper on this for some time now. If many people are interested, I'll do this one of these days. (Those interested can PM me.)
well whatever the update comes from any search engine..if you have unique content..then no update going to effect you.
This is the most important strategies in the seo. Everybody can build links with these strategies, no matter whic industry you are working.
You need to throw everything into the mix...Its just like it always has been except now you can't link to any old shite!
Utter rubbish, we have 4 website and after EMD all but 1 is affected. ALL links are manual and content is unique as I wrote it all and reads perfect English!
HI ! there is no big difference after Penguin Update and EMD update. you have to more careful about Content. it has to be "Unique" and more related your Topic.
avoid the following and you'll be safe Inbound links from dangerous sites Aggressive exact-match anchor text Low-quality article marketing & blog spam Keyword stuffing
I think these days it's best to focus on getting traffic from other sources like social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, so engage users on social media sites. Write quality content and share them on your social media accounts. You not only get backlinks, you also get traffic too. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
there are many ways to build links the simplest way is to post contents to as many websites as possible
