Re-design logo contest - $25 via paypal - 48 hours

PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST BEFORE SUBMITTING A LOGO.

Due to the lack of interested in my previous attempt to have this logo redone, I have upped the prize to $25.00

Hi there,

I am looking to have this logo redesigned. It is important that the new logo looks as similar as possible to the old one. For example, the logo must have the bathtub, drawn the same way, and the same car in the tub. I more or less need a logo that sharp, bright, and more "new age" for the lack of a better word.

The perfect new logo would be nearly identical to the old one, but sharper, brighter, and more "new age".

I reserve the right to not choose a winner, if my client is not satisfied with any of the entrys. Additional time will be allotted if my client is not satisfied with any of the logo's, but see's promise in a logo(s).

I also reserve the right to end the contest early, if a clear winner is determined early than 48 hours from the time of this post.

Once paid, the designer surrenders all rights to the logo, and must provide the .psd file.

It is IMPORTANT that the logo be designed in a larger format, at least 600 pixels wide. A vector format would be best but is not required. Also, the logo should have a white, or transparent background.

frikusha - This is on the right track, I would like to see a version with a serif font. (one as similar to the old logo as possible) The most important part of this design, is keeping it as darn close to the old logo as possible. - (branding purposes)

I love how bright and chrisp you have made the car, the "shine" effects on the car is exactly what I am talking about when i speak of "modernizing" this logo.

Very close to what we are looking for.

Couple more comments, The car should appear to be as shiney and clean looking as possible. I would also like to see more deffinition in your lines. See how the current logo is outlined in black. I would like the new logo to be aswell. Im not sure how this may affect the overall image. But i think the outline helps to sharpen the image.

Also, could you please incorporate the antena and the eyebrows in?

Frikusha - Thanks for incorporating the antena and the eyebrows. Although I noticed you have changed the eyes themselves. I liked them better before. They had some shine to them.

johnrossgd - Very nice. Could you darken the outline on the tub a bit? Also, rather than the bubbles on top of the car, can you put some "foam" like in the old logo? Its important that it looks as similar as possible. Thanks.

Its hard to say who's currently winning. I have forwarded both your designs to my client, and we will see what he has to say by tommorow.

Comments to both of you: Try and add some more shadowing, lighting effect, etc. As much shine as possible please.

Sorry about the slow response guys. Been away from the computer all day.

These both look great.

I have sent all versions of both your logos to my client. I know it's going to be a tough choice, and im glad im not the one who has to make it.

CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED! - No new entry's past grace period please. (I will allow a 12 hour grace period for anyone who may have already started a design before this post)

I will post the winner as soon as I know who it is. My client will be out of his office until monday, but is usually good at replying over the weekends. (so by monday latest)

I will post the winner here on this thread, as well as PM the winner for payment info.
