    Yes you have to firstly create a sitemap and then submit it into Google Webmaster Tool. Whenever google will verify your links from webmaster tool after that your site or pages will be indexed.

    Besides creating a sitemap, you should also do some seo: direcotry submission, ppc (a great way to get indexed fast, Google Adwords would be the answer) and articles submission or writing.

    As mentioned above. I use a pinging tool and it works extremely well. A page will usually be indexed within 12 hours

    is quite easy. Make a robots file and upload it. Then ping google about it. You can also do a sitemap and ping google about it.
    But the easiest way is building links
    Then google will update your site and index it

    Submit your site in google webmaster with your site map and ping your all pages in different pinging tool.
    I hope its very effective for this our site will index in 48 hours.

    The simplest way of getting Google Index is to get a link from another site that has already been indexed by Google that Google sends it's bots to regularly.

    The first thing I do when I create a new site,

    is link to it from my old sites. Just two to three links .. and then wait .. for 12 hrs .. you would surely have page rank 0 and would be indexed by Google for sure. Also add Meta Description and Meta Tags.

    Adding sitemaps and such surely helps

    Happy to you, your site now has PR 3 and is of-course well indexed.
