Multiple Adword Accounts for Single Site

Discussion in 'Google AdWords' started by biztrendz, Jan 1, 2012.

    Hi all,

Have a quick question. Am totally a newbie to paid marketing, so no hard feelings if this question has already been discussed. I tried to Google it, but didn't find much about this topic.

    Question:

Is it safe (and under Google Adword TOS) to run Adword campaign for a single website but using multiple Adword accounts? I am not going to use all accounts at the same time. One at a time.

Looking for your quick and professional help.

    Thanks,

You can do this but if you focus on improving Quality score of ads then no need to use multiple a/c for same website.if Quality score is good your ads shows in a good position and also u get more impression.

    Thanks guys.

Just found this discussion over Google forum about the topic: http://x.co/cEDy. It says that I can't use more than 1 as it is against Google TOS. Confused here.

If there are "grey" areas with regards any terms and conditions with google services, in my experience and opinion, it is best to steer clear...As mentioned above, google actually incentivise you to use only one account given quality scores and higher indexing + lower costs as a result!

    Hi Guys,

I have a related question on this matter. I have used a coupon on my site which is a .com domain i also have the co.uk domain of the same name. The co.uk domain is currently forwarded to the com domain. My question is even though it is a different url can i use another coupon for the co.uk domain or will it cause problems. I do not wish to get banned.

    Thanks Soul

In order to preserve the quality and diversity of ads running on Google, individuals advertising for themselves or for their own businesses may only have a single AdWords account unless explicitly advised otherwise by Google.
This means that we don't allow advertisers or affiliates to have any of the following:

    • Ads across multiple accounts for the same or similar businesses
    • Ads across multiple accounts triggered by the same or similar keywords
Only client managers (such as third parties or search engine marketers) who use a My client center can have multiple AdWords accounts. All associated accounts must be linked to the manager's My Client Center account.
If you're interested in creating a My Client Center so you can manage multiple AdWords accounts for other people, you can sign up for Google Advertising Professionals. This program provides you with free tools and training to help you manage clients successfully.

It is always been my experience to not do this for many reasons.
    1. You are competing with yourself and driving up your own costs
    2. Reporting and aggregating data becomes more of an issue
    3. Grey area that Google does not allow this

I would examine why you want to use multiple accounts and make sure you are not double dipping or even paying twice for the same visitor.

No, it's neither safe nor allowed as per Google TOS.

I guess you are using vouchers which can be applicable only to new accounts. This may lead to permanent bann of account. So, i suggest you not to go with this.
