Hit by Google Animals

    Weird,
    4 months ago i was doing very well, getting really nice traffic from Google.
    But then i got hit by Penguin update, then Panda & now EMD.. Traffic went almost 0%.
    Now What should i do? should i close my blog?

    PS: I'm a newbie!

    There are few ways to fix your site positions, but they depend on that what kind of animal attacked you. If it were all three updates, i would advice you to:
    - 301 your domain to new one
    - build quality links with quality, unique content
    - diversify your anchors

    But you can continue your blogging thing as i do with seostarlet.com services.

    I am really thankfull with them, i keep ranking in crise timing...;)

    if you do a 301 redirect on a penalized site, penalty will follow you to the new domain.

    depends on what type of site is that, how much efforts put to built the site, how much time it will take to built the new site and what would be the cost, etc.

    it is not easy to recover the ranking loss or the penalty. only time it makes sense working on recovering ranking loss or get out of penalty is when your site is a major business site and it would make huge impact on your business if you change the domain or cost would be significant to start all over. if it is a blogspot blog or Christina Hendricks wallpaper site, i wouldn't even bother trying to recover the ranking loss due to penalty and start over.

    Yeah Everybody Got Hit By EMD. what we are doing as of now is maximizing the potential of Social media, we are expanding all our social channels, uploading new vids on youtube and vimeo, then content distributions. also fresh link can help you. IMHO you don't have to create a new URL. you just have to create a fresh link (Old, Quality and High Authority).
