Give up. You've tried to convince us dating hookers is a sign of good taste. Flinging poo wont salvage credibility. That ship's sailed. Maybe you could pay a whore to come agree with you? :)

    This is true.

Look, put yourself in this situation - you are a salesman responsible for tens of millions of dollars worth of sales. You are with either a client, or an influencer (politician, CEO, fixer) that is in a position to secure a multi-million dollar sale sale for you that will put hundreds of thousands of dollars in your pocket. The influencer wants to get laid by a high-end call girl.

But you have to get a $1000 call girl, too. Why? Because now you are both bound together by being mutually guilty, one can't rat on the other without implicating themselves (I forget the name for this). BTW, the $2000 goes on the expense account.

No, I've never done this, not out of prudence, but I don't want someone I don't trust having something on me. But I have had clients insist on high-end strip clubs. Strip clubs are great - if you game the system right you can put an extra $1000 in your pocket that night from cash advances. Management doesn't care because you're a "big earner". For some industries strip clubs are a part of the business and you can't escape it. For high-powered industries like politics and oil it's $1000 call girls.

I worked for a semiconductor company when a major buyer for Chrysler, a vocal pain-in-the-ass and self-professed Born-Again Christian, was holding us up on a $23 Million opportunity. On a factory trip, away from his wife, he dropped hints and we got him laid. We got the order. I got a multi-thousand dollar bonus.

Those of you that think this is about sex are missing the point. Sex is a commodity, like a car or a hamburger, nothing more. If you've never been involved in deals worth tens of millions of dollars, you'll be naive and think this is fantasyland. Truth really IS stranger than fiction.

In huge organizations, once you reach the C-level, the parties are all about sex and money. If you are a prude you never get that promotion.

I'm not judging. I'm just explaining how it is.

It doesn´t even need to be about high value deals. In the end of 1970s, I was working in a research department of the big aerospace company in USA. We did the project before the deadline and our prize was a weekend in the ski lodge with free food, drinks and escorts.

Nah, I'm just not in to shagging strangers.

'round these parts people would think there a reason for paying for sex, and being a corporate suit aint it. Sounds to me like wealth brings out the dorks.

Knowing how that part of society does business almost makes me believe in wealth distribution

That's a personal choice. I'm happy avoiding corporate business, to me it's like working with the government, yuck.
