Google demoted my site!?!?!

I was ranking really well for the keywords I wanted on Google. I recently made 3 more sites to get more leads with the same content as the first.
I then noticed my main site got demoted for all pages.
I guessed it was because I had made the other sites with the same content.
So I have gone and edited all content on the other sites so their is no copied content.
I then went on to web master and resubmited my sites to Google index.
Will this get my main site back into high ranking?
Is this the real reason why my main site got demoted or is it because of backlinks and the new Google update?
Anyone with any ideas.
My sites are;

Dear...as you say that you build 3 more sites to get more leads with the same content as the first. I think your site demoted by Google Search Engines as an duplicate content content and url issues...not worry...Use 301 redirect or use connonical tag to refer to search engines for duplicate issues..and again send the reconsideration request to Google and try to get quality back links for your website.

I dont want to set up a 301 reirect as I want to keep traffic going to all sites.

I want to know if Google will re rank my sites now i have taken all duplicated content down.

 

As you say that you remove duplicate content from your other sites...I think you will get your keywords ranking back because now a days a lot of updates are coming and it may be happen your website hit by all this updates and please check your Google Webmaster Tools in regular way

 

hey ...you have good understand of them ya-ha the main issue is that. lot of site has gone demoted by search engines so then till do best seo and all of technique .
