we want to make a full online file converter which cover any file type to any. and we wanna buy TV ads and etc. it will be millions of users daily. looks lots of resource is needed but if we buy this much dedicated servers we really can't pay that much bcoz we don't know how many server we have to buy ! this was problem and project was down till i heard something about cloud hosting. is that possible i just buy a cloud server and don't worry about visitors and site get down ? If your website is not in top 100,000 cloud is fine, but less means better to go with E3 type server.

1. Knowledge - you'd need to have some extensive knowledge about cluster-computing.
2. Space - you'd need a dedicated space, even though you could probably set up something at a colocation.
3. Bandwidth - both internal and external - what's the point of having a super-strong server somewhere when you need to actually be able to reach it and send out data from it at next-to-no latency.
4. Bugs? Or lack thereof - seriously? You think a single person with amateurish knowledge of the concepts will be able to set up something like this in a short time-frame without serious bugs, not to speak of "avoiding the big bugs already present"? I think it would be wiser to just go for a tried and tested setup...
