I have a Online Shopping Website. And I am using forum posting for Search Engine Optimization of this portal. I am using Signature link. Can this is the natural links or it is the unnatural link according to Google Guideline or New update Penguine.

These are good for my website or bad according to Google Penguin

After the new Penguin Update, forum links are considered a bit of a spam and have lost credibility.

forum links are relatively easy to obtain, thus google has made them less valuable compared to hard coded links from actual websites.

Usually the spam concern from forums comes from the forum admins and mods themselves, not search engines handing out penalties.

That said, pointing forum links to your main site is silly. It's both lost effectiveness and if you have a bunch of do-follow forum backlinks (either sig or profile) that you throw on your main site suddenly, you're going to get flagged for the amount of backlinks, but not really where they're from (unless it's a porn/gambling/pharmacy forum)

Forum links are considered natural links. Links are only considered "unnatural" by search engines if you have a lot coming from sources that are not related to your site/niche.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

I feel that when it's considered spam is when you have all your anchor text the same in the forum posts. I don't use anchor text I just use a naked link. I have not gotten penalized at all :)

I think Forums links are high level links as compared to the other, and these are natural links too. You can collect your links by forum posting also because it is one of the activity of white hat search engine optimization off page technique..
