Question about bounce rate

8% bounce rate is too good. As i ever seen maximum site has the 40 to 50% bounce rate. So now you need to tack care about the visitors if you will get more visitors may be you bounce rate will increase.

8% is very low Bounce Rate. You don't need to be worried for this and Congrats for that.

 

As a SEO wise 8% Bounce Rate means very good. Your website visitor come on your website and stable of sometimes because your website is very interesting.

I believe 8% is good rate if you want lower then that then i would say you make sure that every page on your website is useful, interesting, and well-laid-out. Visitors aren’t likely to just land on your home page, or even one of your carefully crafted landing pages. They’ll land on whatever page shows up for them in search results, or whatever page they found linked through social media site.

 

Just 8% bouncing is not a big problem. You are lucky that you have only 8%

What your site bouncing rate is 8% wow....I never saw this much of rate, Ok not bad..I heard the best bouncing rate is 40%. Keep your site maintenance as so far....no problem.

Thank you everyone for your views.Now I got clear idea about bounce rate.I get 2500 approx. unique visitors daily and my monthly ads revenue is around 20$ I guess if i had more bounce rate,I would be making more money.Any suggestion how to make my visitors click on ads?or 20$ is good earnings for a site with 65000 monthly unique visitors?please note that i am not using adsense

 

8% is excellent, though your keywords must be traffic generating! Only then it makes sense.

 

That isn't very good for 65000 monthly unique visitors. Your ad placement doesn't sound good. A good placement doesn't mean sticking ads right in the visitor's face; in fact Google has page layout as part of the algorithm (checking if ads are taking precedence over content). Furthermore, though, it doesn't always mean higher CTR. Just from my own experience, when I changed to an ad placed within content I had a much improved CTR.

Just experiment with layout and use different channels so you can know what performs best.

 

Please know that my site is a mobile site and 80% of my visitors come from mobile device.Mobile users usually hate to scroll long pages and keeping this in mind i have placed one ad on top so that my visitors can view it as soon as they arrive

 

Bounce rate is all important after recent Google onslaught so you are lucky to have such a low bounce rate.

 

Is it the one in your signature? Really there isn't much to that site, bunch of ads and a keyword-stuffed feel (at the top). However, you could mix in the ads with your content. It doesn't need to be at the bottom, just not the very first line. Like inbetween the list of recently added content. Try to blend it in, maybe changing the presentation of the content a bit, but don't over-blend.

 

I think that was amazing, my all time best for bounce rate is only 50%.
