hmm a converter will be very hard to do. I would just buy a premade template for mobile from themeforest.net

You've got to hit the code.

Google for: "How to get started with responsive web design and development" and start learning :)

You would need to learn/have somebody do some coding for you. You will need to do a bit of work on the code as far as making the site responsive so that it always fits in the screen no matter what the size of it is.

That is how a lot of mobile sites work but if you are talking about a forum like this, you may just be better off going with a mobile theme or even installing a plug in on your forum and then using an app on iOS and Android.

Well if you are not able to code HTML5 / CSS5 on your own you will have to invest money to have somebody code for it. But this is a one time invest so you don't have to produce a constant cashflow of like 10$ per month to cover the fees for some product doing the same work.

From my experience using a plugin might be a shortcut but in the end this is not what you will need running a successful website as the design will not fit your regular one.

If you are looking to hire someone you can go for the BST and also drop a PM ;)

The best option you have is dudamobile. Since Google partnered with dudamobile, you get an year of Premium Service free of cost. The process is simple, you just have to type in your Website's URL and gomo(Google+Dudamobile) would give it a Mobile Template. You an then edit it to add HTML, AdSense codes, dividers, pages etc.

GO to gomo.dudamobile dotcom to get started. Hope I helped.

If you are hosting your site on wordpress then you can switch to responsive theme... Responsive themes are generally mobile compatible. Search in a google with ===> "Responsive Wordpress Themes" you will get lot of themes....

Responsive themes are also available for Magento..Joomla and other CMS...Check that
