    I'm looking to see if anyone can improve on, recreate, or completely rethink the logo and branding for my gaming website project. You can see the current logo below. Feel free to think up whatever you can. A mascot or character would be much appreciated, and I'm willing to pay for more than one if I'm happy with multiple entries. Payment will be via PayPal.

    Cezete - Thanks for the entry, but unfortunately this isn't what we are looking for.
    kainraziall - I like the negative space and text effect you've used in your first entry, but that isn't what we're looking for either. Your second entry is much better, but still too similar to our current logo. I like what you've done connecting the word 'HUB' with the 'U' at the top-right, but the imagery doesn't show a 'hub' like our current logo does. Keep up the great work!
    dZba - Thanks for attempting to create a logo for us, but this isn't the direction we were trying to head. This seems like it's all done in a single premade font with a few layer effects, and looks a bit too... childish?
    nayirpro - I see what you're doing there to represent a hub and the points connecting, but I think the priority the logo focuses on would be the 'Play' part first, which this iteration doesn't look at, at all.

    May I note that when I mentioned a mascot/character would be nice, a person would usually seem too generic, and we're not looking for any 'real animal' to fill the mascot place either. A made-up creature, even a shadow-creature (monotoned) would probably work best.

    This is by far the best submitted so far, John! It represents gaming and a hub/connecting very well. One thing I'd like to see though, is a slightly more simplified version that would look good both large and small. Once again, great work.
