    Hi there!

    I have a very intriguing question, which I doubt it can be answered, but I'll try to do that :)

    Our company has a website. We try to make our SEO as natural as possible. We want to start a game and we want to add a function in this game. The function is called "invite a friend". The user copies a referral link and gives it to their friends. The very user can get a lifetime commission if some of their friends will eventually win.

    The game has a chance to go VIRAL and we doubt if this will have a good SEO effect on our site, since there will be a huge number of links in a very short period pointing to our page.

    The game we're going to launch is not the main theme of our website, it's just a section in it ;)

    I think this is going to be a very good discussion!

    I think this will not effect any bad things on your site as all of the links visitors will create looks natural to search engines. In my experience google loves viral social traffic & I got good results with it, though have some difference with your way :)

    One part of SEO campaign is to generate outside referral links from quality sites. So It will not affect your rankings...............
