How to Improve the traffic and page rank of my blog

Hi...i am new to blogging and do not know much about SEO and i have blog named techkiddy.blogspot.com and the daily page views of my blog is about 100-150,but even then the page rank of my blog is zero.
kindly please tell me how to improve the page rank of my blog and methods of SEO
